What Might Have Happened If Cinderella Didn’t Lose Her Shoe?
“Cinderella is a fictional character of a folktale that was first published in 1697 by Charles Perrault. This story teaches us the morals of kindness towards all, forgiving others for doing wrong, and never letting bad things ruin your heart”.
Story
Cinderella is a princess. Her mother died early and her father remarried. But, her stepmother and her daughters treated Cinderella like a servant.
Cinderella meets a charming prince in a forest where she falls in love with him. She goes to the royal ball ceremony with the help of a fairy godmother. The carriage, driver, horse, dress, etc., were all magical and would get back to normal after the clock strikes 12 (midnight). Cinderella with her princess appearance dances with the prince there. One day in a hurry to leave the palace before midnight, Cinderella forgets her shoe behind. The prince traces her back by that shoe and marries her and they live happily ever after.
What might have happened if she took her shoe along with her?
If Cinderella hadn't lost her shoe, she would go back to her house and work for her stepmother and step-sisters like a servant and she would never see the prince again. The prince would die searching for the Cinderella he loved and he would never come to know the housemaid version of Cinderella. Cinderella's family would make her work until she was too tired and couldn't work anymore. So, she runs away to a far-off place and would never be heard by her stepmother and step-sisters ever again. They might think that she was dead and the whole story would be messed up because the prince would not find her and Cinderella would have to give up and not find a happy ending. And the story would have no point. The prince would stop trying to find her and would not find his happy ending too.
If I was Cinderella would I leave the ball before midnight?
In the story, there were three balls. In the first two, she remembered to leave on time, but in the last, she forgets because she was in so much love with the prince. They were holding each other in their arms and dancing with their whole hearts.
